Necropolis of Babylon – Koyaanisqatsi

 

KoyaanisqatsiPurchase Koyaanisqatsi from Amazon directed by Godfrey Reggio and with music composed by Philip Glass and cinematography by Ron Fricke debuted in 1982 as the first film in the Qatsi trilogy. It was later followed by PowaqqatsiPurchase Powaqqatsi from Amazon (1988) and NaqoyqatsiPurchase Naqoyqatsi from Amazon (2002). The trilogy depicts different aspects of the relationship between humans, nature, and technology*.
